My name is Angela Bentley and I've been working with dogs
for 8 years. I have had dogs all my life but my passion
for training and dog welfare started when my
husband and I moved to Maryland after he was layed off
from his employment. I quit my job in manufacturing
and, in search of a new career, attended the College of
Southern Maryland's Veterinary Assistant course.

Before completion of the Veterinary Assistant Course in
2003 I had begun volunteering with the Humane Society
of Calvert County walking dogs and fostering dogs and
puppies. Later I took over as Kennel manager and held
a spot on the Board of Directors.

I completed the Veterinary Assistant Course in 2003 and
went on to graduate from Animal Behavioral College in 2005
and continued learning all I could about dog training and behavior by reading books and
attending seminars. After having the opportunity to work with a Remote collar trainer I took
his advice and attended That's My Dog Remote Collar Academy in Wisconsin. There, I
learned how using the Remote Ecollar can be a positive training tool to get quick results
and allow the dogs off leash faster than any other method.

Along with dog training I offer dog daycare, pet sitting, and dog behavioral consultations.
I also continue  working with shelter dogs and foster through C.A.R.E., a rescue in rural
Washington county Missouri.

I always have a foster or two "in training" looking for a home. If you are interested in
aquiring a well behaved dog, please let me know.

My dogs as of today: Bailey: a Great Pyrenees mix, George: a German Shepherd mix, Blue:
an American Bulldog Ridgeback mix, and Deidre: a Boxer mix.
Jackson, a Katrina rescue, may he
rest in peace.
